    How to choose the right seat mount

    Seat mount questions answered

    What is the difference between a seat base, side mount and slider?

    A seat base adapts the car's mounting points to the seat installation. A side mount attaches to the sides of the seat. A slider allows forward and backward adjustment. The parts you need depend on the car, seat and specific mount.

    What do DX and SX mean on Sparco seat mounts?

    DX means right and SX means left, viewed in the direction of travel. When the source does not specify a separate mounting side, the guide shows left and right.

    Do all mounts fit Sparco QRT seats?

    No. The guide specifically identifies side mounts intended only for QRT seats on original sliders. Check the part's installation details and the seat's mounting points.

    Is the year of manufacture the same as the registration year?
